9 Pestana Hotel Group hotel units in Madeira are the subject of an intervention being carried out by FN hotelaria.
Pestana Carlton Madeira, Pestana Casino Park, Pestana Grand, Pestana Miramar, Pestana Ocean Bay, Pestana Promenade, Pestana Royal, Pestana Vila Lido Madeira and Pestana Madeira Beach Club are the hotels in question.
Pestana Hotel Group has sustainability at the heart of its concerns and has selected FN hotelaria to support it in this step forward, within the scope of its environmental responsibility.
Implementing measures to improve energy efficiency is extremely important. Responsible companies committed to the environment, by optimizing their resource management and with the support of available technology, not only reduce their carbon footprint, but also achieve a significant reduction in their operating costs.
Some of the measures that can contribute to a more efficient energy system in an HVAC installation are:
- creation of solutions for recovering heat produced in specific equipment and/or areas and its use in heating others;
- replacement of equipment, pipes, connections, etc., with options that are more in line with current requirements and more efficient;
- adaptation and improvement of the pipeline network;
- adoption of technological solutions that allow responsible use of equipment by end users, particularly in terms of water savings, adequate use of air conditioning equipment, etc.;
- implementation of a Centralized Technical Management system to manage all equipment in an integrated manner.
