Open since May 11, 2023, Audax aims to “elevate Madeiran gastronomy to the next level”.
Reinterpreting regional gastronomy with boldness and innovation is the paradigm of this new restaurant, which bears the unmistakable mark of the irreverent spirit of the group founded in Ponta do Sol, owner of the well-known bar The Old Pharmacy.
Located in a prime area of the city of Funchal, Rua Imperatriz D. Amélia, the space was decorated by Alpendre Decorações and has capacity for 34 people.
Operating only for dinner service, the kitchen led by Chef César Vieira presents an updated version of the menu, since the reopening on September 26th (after a short holiday period).
FN hotelaria was the company responsible for developing the project, supplying and installing the hotel equipment for the bar and kitchen areas (preparation, cooking and pantry) of Audax restaurant.
