Pestana Royal Resort
Pestana Royal reopened in 2017, after a process of in-depth remodeling and adaptation to the Pestana brand. It presents itself as a 5-star all-inclusive hotel. With more than 300 rooms, it has 4 restaurants, as well as terraces and bars.
This unit, formerly called Madeira Regency Palace, opened in 1999 and belonged to the Regency Hotels & Resorts Group, owner of 3 hotels in Madeira and another on the portuguese mainland. It closed in 2015. However, from 2016 onwards it was managed by Pestana Hotel Group.
In 2017, FN hotelaria's intervention in the renovation of Pestana Royal included the supply and installation of equipment for kitchen, buffet, show cooking and bar for several restaurants. FN hotelaria also carried out the execution of the ventilation system (HVAC) of the Asian restaurant.
In 2021, again regarding HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), a more complete renovation took place, focusing on energy efficiency and with the implementation of a centralized technical management system.
