Pestana Promenade Resort

Open since 2009, Pestana Promenade was the 10th hotel of Pestana Group on the island of Madeira. With an architecture signed by Jaime Morais, totally connected to the sea, this resort hotel had 237 rooms and suites, 2 restaurants, 2 bars, a spa and several swimming pools. Dazzle guests with the view and comfort were the goals.

From the very beginning, FN hotelaria participated in the development of the project for this hotel unit. FN hotelaria was also responsible for the supply and installation of equipment for kitchen (preparation, production, pantries and storage area), bars (including pantries and storage area), cafeteria and breakfast area, cold rooms and refrigerated areas, buffets, show cooking, staff refectory and laundry.

The renovation works of Pestana Promenade’s HVAC installations have begun november 2021. The first phase involved the delivery and installation of equipment for thermal production and hot water systems of this 4-star hotel located in Funchal.

In order to significantly improve all systems and implement more energy-efficient solutions, our intervention included a wide range of equipment, namely: chiller, dry cooler, heat pump, chilled water production circuits, heat recovery circuits, hot water circuits, pumps, storage tanks, among others, as well as the renovation of the electrical installation to better adaptation to the new machines installed.

To complete the installation phase, the necessary tests and adjustments were carried out, a system for identifying the units was created and all the necessary documentation was provided.
