Pestana Churchill Bay Pousada & Historic Hotel

Pestana Churchill Bay opened in the summer of 2019. It was the first hotel in the city center of Câmara de Lobos and the first “pousada” (inn) by Pestana Group in Madeira. The old buildings that already housed a fishing infrastructure and the city hall were rehabilitated to create to an hotel unit of 57 rooms.
Named in honor of Winston Churchill's memory, it displays a full-size bronze sculpture of the British Prime Minister on the terrace of the bar open to the public, who in 1950 traveled to Madeira, portraying landscapes of the island in several paintings of his own.
The equipment for kitchen, pantries, bars and buffet was supplied and installed by FN hotelaria.
