Palácio Chiado, in operation since 2016, redefined itself and reopened in autumn 2018. It was renovated, redecorated and focused on the “Food & Art” concept.
The historic building at Rua do Alecrim, in Lisbon, preserves the refined palace atmosphere of its past. The several centenary rooms house 6 restaurants and 2 bars, on 2 floors, for a total of 180 seats. In this space that combines art and restoration, chef Manuel Bóia also occupies a role as a gastronomic curator. He is responsible for all the restaurants’ menus, which offer 6 different proposals:
As for the bars, we can find cocktails and gins at Junot, on the first floor. In the hall, Dawn favors a 'lounge' concept. There is also a space dedicated to desserts and ice cream: Confeitaria - Portuguese Desserts & Ice Creams.
The equipment for kitchen - preparation, cooking and pantry - as well as bar, cold rooms and storage area, was supplied and installed by FN hotelaria. We were also responsible for the installation of a system of extraction of fumes and vapors from the kitchen.
