O Clássico
At the end of summer 2024, one of Funchal's best-known and most renowned restaurants was remodeled. It's called O Clássico and its specialty is traditional Portuguese cuisine.
The high quality of the menu, the cordiality of the staff and the comfort of the space have always been some of the hallmarks of this historic restaurant that is proud to have “the most beautiful terrace in the city” of Funchal.
This updating process focused on a large part of the space, from the terrace, to the bar, to the main room and to the technical areas. FN hotelaria developed the project, supplied and installed the hotel equipment for the bar, buffet, pantries, refrigerated wine displays, as well as refrigeration equipment to refit the existing wine cellar.
Chef Manuel Trindade, with extensive experience, is in charge of the kitchen, which produces “top quality dishes with always fresh products (…) [from] the infinite world of flavors and aromas of typical Traditional Portuguese Cuisine”, you can read on the restaurant's website.
The motto that guides this team could not be more inviting: “Timeless flavors, infinite views”.
